Built to wear in, not wear out.
Wax Canvas Care Guide
Your Heritage Series bag is made from rugged waxed canvas built for hard use and designed to age with character. Over time, the fabric will develop natural creases, marks, and patina that make each bag unique.
That worn-in look is part of what makes waxed canvas special.
What to Expect
Waxed canvas has a rich finish that may feel slightly firm or tacky at first. During the first few weeks of use, especially in warm conditions, a small amount of wax or color transfer may occur if the bag rubs against light-colored fabrics.
This is a normal characteristic of waxed canvas and usually lessens as the bag breaks in.
To help avoid transfer, limit prolonged rubbing against light-colored or delicate clothing during early use.
Care & Cleaning
- Spot clean only with a soft, damp cloth
- Use a soft brush to remove dried dirt or debris
- Let the bag air dry naturally
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sun exposure
Do not machine wash.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not bleach.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
Long-Term Care
Over time, the fabric may begin to look drier or lose some water resistance. When needed, the bag can be rewaxed using a wax made for canvas products.
Natural scratches, color variation, and wear marks are part of the character of waxed canvas and are not defects.
